I've been updating with some polaroids I've been taking lately and some that I've taken a few months ago. I've got some more to scan in if I can find them. Awesome news, though! Two of my polaroids ("Find Some Peace Tonight" and "Israeli") were featured in an awesome news article by ~i-am-god-la-dee-da (https://www.deviantart.com/i-am-god-la-dee-da)! Check it out, it's really inspiring. Polaroid film is really expensive. I'm looking to get an SX-70 land camera, but I hear you can't get the film anymore? Any truth to this? And more importantly, how can I get a hold of one? I looked on eBay but still haven't managed to find a working one that isn't outlandishly priced. Halp! Hope lif

So, you may all be wondering who I am. I'll shed some light. My name is Alecia (once ~serenader) and I'm an art student from Oregon, USA. I'm currently attending a community college on a tuition waiver and was recently accepted into Cornish College of the Arts located in Seattle, Washington. Unfortunately, the tuition was too much and thus I will not be attending. I'm hoping next year to get reaccepted into Cornish and to also look into Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon. I want to be able to do something with my art for a living and hopefully will one day become a recognized artist in the art world. Until then, this will
